Yesteryear has recently discovered the unlikely joy (is that even the right word?) of plunging into icy cold water first thing in the morning.
Just like the polar bears do.
Apparently it's good for your health, which may counter-balance the many other vices in life that are infinitely more appealing, but perhaps not quite so good for the mind, body & soul.
But before we get all philosophical on you, thought we'd share a musically inspired verse to celebrate this new ritual...
"Coldplay in the early hours.
A rude awakening to senses we didn't know existed.
And in the aftermath, the simple pleasure of donning My Morning Jacket, its fleecy warmth as comforting as the double-shot cappucino that fires the cockles, but doesn't quite make it to where our toes used to be!
We can still feel the pins and needles stabbing like Blue Stingrays underneath the surface of the wild and woolly Atlantic"
Have a good one folks and for a taste of some of the best surf-rock you'll hear today, check out 'Surf-N-Burn' by the mysterious Blue Stingrays.
