We're a little biased at Yesteryear but what could be better than sitting down in the comfort of your own home and tuning in to some great new vinyl releases at the click of a mouse? 

Okay, fair enough ... there's a few things that would top it ...

1) taking a ride on the Magic Bus and getting your eardrums shattered at The Who Live At Leeds in 1970

2) Feelin' Groovy with a half a million New Yorkers in 1981 at Simon & Garfunkel's Concert In The Park

3) and for an Aussie swimming the wrong way, hearing Crowded House close out with 'Don't Dream It's Over' on the steps of Sydney Opera House in 1996 

The Stones once said, 'you can't always get what you want', but we reckon there's no harm in trying ... and whilst we can't get you to London, New York or Sydney we can try and get you some decent records!

So what's the deal with shopping at Yesteryear?

  • We can access over 150,000 titles from trusted labels world-wide
  • We also have access to the major South African record companies (Sony, Warner, Universal) and some independent local artists, so will do our best to get the album you want
  • We add new titles to our own store regularly, including upcoming pre-orders, new releases and classic re-issues 
  • You can email us with a personal request for anything not in our store - if the item is available, we will respond with an email Order
  • If an advertised album displays a quantity listed under its description (e.g. 1 item left)  then it means we have stock of that album
  • If the item indicates 'SOLD OUT' you can email us to place an order

How we order?

  • We order from Holland and the USA subject to demand and ship when our box is full
  • As such, timelines can vary widely subject to consumer interest, product availability and the timing of your own request to us
  • If your vinyl is out-of-stock when we ship from Holland or the US, your album(s) will go to back-orderwhich obviously extends delivery time-lines - please be patient :-)
  • If an album remains on back-order for some time and eventually becomes a deleted item, we will provide a full refund - 100% guarantee

How we process payment?

  • We use PayFast,  one of South Africa's most trusted payment gateways
  • You can pay via credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or Instant EFT
  • You will receive a confirmation email confirming your initial order
  • You will also receive further emails confirming status of your order through to delivery
