Earning Stars & Redeeming Rewards

Like most loyalty programs our Rock Star Rewards initiative is customer-driven. It is designed for your benefit but it does take some effort on your part. If you are eligible, the onus lies with you, the customer, to redeem your own Rewards, at the time of purchase. We can't do this for you retrospectively, so please remember to do so when you go shopping online. Just like Dewey does.

You can access and manage your own Rewards profile at any time by launching the Rock Star Rewards icon at bottom of any page - look for the 'flaming green star' icon.

How to earn stars:	Stars you can earn:
Sign-up	500 Stars
Order / Buy Records (Rock Star level)	1 Star for every Rand spent
Pre-order from Upcoming Releases	Bonus Star for every Rand spent
Subscribe to Mailchimp newsletter	250 Stars
Celebrate your Birthday	500 Stars
Refer a Friend - Disabled March 15, 2023	No longer valid

Regular Rewards you can earn:	Regular Stars Required
15% discount (per order over R3500)	8000 Stars
10% discount (per order over R1500)	4000 Stars
5% discount (per order over R1000)	2000 Stars

 

Getting Started - The Basics:

1) Launch the 'Rock Star Rewards' icon from the bottom of any page (green flaming star)

2) Log-in or create an account with Yesteryear Records

3) Shop online to Earn stars and Get rewards. Rock On :-)

Redeeming Rewards:

1. Log-in to Rock Star Rewards using 'flaming star' icon at the bottom any page
2. Click 'REDEEM STARS' tab to see if you qualify for a Reward
3. To redeem, choose 'GET REWARD'
4. Click 'COPY & PASTE' - this will COPY your discount code (to your clipboard) until you reach checkout, where you then PASTE the code in space provided
5. IMPORTANT - You must do BOTH steps (copy AND paste) at the time of purchase for your REWARD to reflect***
6. Go shopping - complete payment online

***if you forget or neglect to PASTE your code at checkout, the unused discount code will remain active under the DISCOUNT CODES tab, so it can be used at a later date, but NOT on the purchase already made.

Basic T's & C's

1. You must have an account with Yesteryear Records to benefit from our Rock Star Rewards program. It's free to join and dead easy - all we need is a name and email address

2. The Rock Star Rewards program will generate a discount code whenever you redeem a reward. Please note that you can only use ONE discount code at a time.

3. If Yesteryear Records has a general discount offer running through our online store and you try to redeem a Rock Star Reward or Royalty bonus at the same time, the store will prioritise our general discount over the reward.

4. So, to save any hassle please remember the ONE DISCOUNT PER CHECK-OUT rule :-)

5. Accumulated Stars can only be redeemed for Rewards / Discount Codes in our online store. Strictly no refunds.

6. Rewards are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances - see point 5
